A. Aggie fell behind Texas Tech

Aggie's only loss was on the road against #13 Texas

Tech's only loss was to unranked Arizona State

Overall strength of schedule isn't close in Aggies favor

B. Alabama jumped Notre Dame

What changed this week?

Bama edged an unranked, non bowl-eligible Auburn team who fired their coach

Notre Dame beat a bad Stanford team

The committee is protecting Alabama from missing the playoff with a potential loss in the SEC CG

C. Miami nestled in behind BYU

The committee is protecting the ACC's bid if Duke beats Virginia

Next week, if Texas Tech beats BYU as expected, look for the Miami/Notre Dame debate to intensify

The committee has conveniently slid Alabama ahead of Notre Dame to set up a debate between ND and Miami that didn't exist last week with ND at #9

D. 10-2 Vanderbilt is getting shafted

How is it possible for a 10-2 SEC team to not make the playoff?

Vanderbilt should be ranked ahead of both Miami and Notre Dame

Give either of those teams an SEC schedule and see if they can go 10-2

They have zero ranked wins
They would be fun to watch in the playoffs though

Yes. The last thing they want is to keep the SEC runner-up out of the playoffs.

In no world is the runner up in the SEC not one of the top 10 teams in the country.

Well Duke shouldn’t have a chance to beat UVA. But that conference is full of clowns. Heather Dinswitch said there’s a slight chance the ACC gets left out completely. I don’t see it. Virginia wins that game. Tech easily handles BYU again. Bama should not get in with a third loss. If they beat Georgia again, they should reward Bama with a home game against UGA in the first round. Three times. Go for the trifecta

Notre Dame doesnt even belong on that list. They played two decent teams all year and lost to both. They’re being rewarded for playing a weak schedule. As much shite as I talk about Aggie, they’re a great team and lost a rivalry game AT Texas. How the hell do they drop?

How does the committee move Bama over ND when Bama struggled with a very bad Auburn team and got handled this year by a team that had a losing record, ND only lost to the # 7 and #12 teams in the country.

Georgia, Bama, Aggie, Ole Miss, OU, and I’m sorry to say it, but Texas all belong in the playoff. This other shite is complete nonsense. I’d put Vandy in before half the other teams as well

ND has played NO ONE. They lost to the only good teams they played. Bama played a grind of a schedule and did extremely well

The SEC runner-up is not going to be left out

Per the committee's own ranking Alabama is 5th in the SEC behind Georgia, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Texas A&M

Please refer to bama as the regular season #1 seed in the best conference in college football. Now as you were.
