Not the frick boy who abandoned his team before the playoffs. See a lot of swamp tards repeating this lie.
Johnny Vaught won 190 games 6 SEC championships and 3 National Titles at Ole Miss.
Lame Quittin won the gator bowl with an NFL roster.

Don't other schools have stronger claims to those titles?

Vaught was the best at Ole Miss all time.
Kiffin was the best at Ole Miss in the past 55 years.
I don't think there is any argument. there.

Johnny Vaught was a legendary coach. He was a Texan who embraced and quickly came to love the state of Mississippi and the local culture. I don’t think his legacy will be threatened by another in the whole state.

Lane Kiffin is a great coach. And, after Golding, OM can be good again without him. Both things can be true.

Can we wait and see if Ole Miss starts claiming National Titles while he was there even though at the time no one thought of them as champions?

He did win in one poll in 1960, but the vast majority of the polls recognized Minnesota as the national champion that year:

You Rebels keep flapping those gums and we are going to be forced to put Operation Poach them Ho’s into effect with Charlie. Right now we are trying to be nice and brotherly in loaning Weiss to you. Tread carefully. We don’t really want to take your best players but we will .

Ole Miss and Auburn can’t win real national titles so they claim ones that are other teams!!! Weird

Exactly.
LSU fans who hate Ole Miss had to wait a long time for Ole Miss to be relevant again.
I want to thank the Rebels for finally breathing some life into this classic rivalry.
Now kindly go to hell.

Both the AP and Coaches poll named Minnesota in 1960.
Those are the only polls that matter.

Wait, Ole Miss has never won an AP, Coaches Poll, BCS, or Playoff Series title?
