He gives up a lot of big plays and it will frustrate you to no end. Good luck with the bend, don’t break defense.

I like the hire because he and Jon have worked together and may share the same defensive philosophy. He did well at Kentucky in years 19-22, so maybe he needs some new fire.
No offense to Kentucky, but UF will also have a better chance of hiring the best players.

He will be fine at Florida. He can have solid defenses with the right players.

Disingenuous. Defense wasnt the best this year, but the defense has had to carry the team on its back most of Stoops' years here, and did so.

He was the one guy I was hoping we could keep with Stein coming in.
He routinely had Top 15-25 defenses at Kentucky, but was often hamstringed by dysfunctional offenses.

I will be watching White to see one thing ... will he bring more than four men in pressure.
Typically at Kentucky - he would bring five until it got burned once. No more than twice - and then it was four man pressure the rest of the game. No matter how successful five man pressures had been.
Was that White ? Or Stoops ? We'll know next year.

Brad White will do well at Florida and I hate it. He'll have access to better recruits and the system works you just need the talent. Stoops did White no favors with an offense that couldn't stay on the field and he still mostly held up.
I'm not sure Florida will know what to do with Brad White after having big personalities like Grantham

Then again Matt House got housed at LSU and he had much more talent so who knows.
