Don't really care for this and it's not because we're only at 4.

Beating three top 15 teams and those being the only bowl eligibles you play is better than beating 7 teams with 6 to 8 wins.

There's a ton of bowl elibigle teams out there that would be much easier to beat than Auburn and Florida right now.

Texas beating Vandy, OU and A&M is far more impressive than someone beating all the teams in the B1G, Big 12 and ACC with 6 to 8 wins.

Losing to a team that's not bowl eligible is a bad look no matter the conference. That's the Texas problem.

Also, barely beating non bowl eligible teams a couple times is also not good.

Losing by 25 in November also not good.

I mean bowl eligible means they won half their games

And for some that's all G5 wins or three to four cupcake wins and two losers in the Big 12 and ACC which are non cupcake wins in P4 conference name only.

This. Our big wins are impressive but our bad losses is what will keep us out of the playoffs, and they should. It's just life with Sark. He seems perfectly capable of beating our rivals but pisses down his pants if he sees Deboer, Day, or Smart on the other sideline.

It's stoops vs mack all over again.

That’s the problem with college football and Texas fans issue. Teams get 4 easy ooc wins then only need 2 more wins.

That’s not impressive at all yet goes into your data point, that’s significantly flawed

So you’re saying it doesn’t matter that only 3 teams you’ve beaten have winning records?

How many does atm or other teams in the top 12 have?

Also a top 10 win is a MUCH GREATER accomplishment than beating a a bunch of 7-5 teams so what does that stat even matter? If it was 1 win no big deal. It’s 3 top 12 wins

You say top 10 then you say top 12

You move the target a lot

We have zero losses to the 103# team in the country

And only 1 loss period

Texas still had a better strength of schedule than you did. Facts are facts.

I think Vandy is a top 10-12 team depending on your rankings.

Let’s just say top 15 to cover Vandy, still
Makes my point.

Again I value top 15 wins more than a loss to 103, and I doubt Florida is 103 but your point is made.

3 top 15 wins shows a team can compete and beat almost anyone and is tested. We don’t know if half the back 7-12 teams are rested or can beat anyone

Look, yes I think your better than some of the teams that will make the playoffs

But you get into the playoffs by winning the games you should win

And you messed that one up big time

Plus you looked terrible and almost lost to Mississippi state and Kentucky and the playoff people saw those games

Maybe, maybe not. I’d 100 percent agree with this 4 years ago but Parity is real now. If you played 7 bowl eligible teams this year it’s a lot tougher than you arm chair QBs think
