Just watched his interview with Marty Smith. When asked why he isn’t coaching his team in the playoffs, he said it’s the AD’s fault. It’s the AD’s fault for not letting him, it’s not because he fricking quit his job.

When asked why he is leaving for LSU, it’s not because HE has his reasons, it’s because Pete Carrol and Saban told him to, and because he prayed about it and it was a family decision.

If Lane wasn’t a child, he would finish what he started or at least take accountability for not finishing what he started and explain why HE personally wanted to leave.

He made a decision. His decision is what brought about his not coaching in the playoffs.

“Lane shouldn’t be held accountable for his actions!”

He should’ve just told the truth and said “Ole Miss is a stepping stone college and I’ve already smashed too many bitter coeds in this town, I hear Baton Rouge got some fine pussy though”

lol 90%+ of non-LSU fans are not on your side on this. Lane quit and the AD showed him the exit.

Yes because being polite is of utmost importance to the guy who quit on his team and is taking half the staff before the playoffs.

You’re flailing.

Tulane’s coach also quit his job. He’s still coaching the team

Lane would be better served to just stay consistent in the villain character. He doesn’t do the victim role as well.

We have two Arky fans within minutes of each other who’ve made pointless posts using circular logic about LSUs coaching hire

What a day

Lane made his decision. Ole Miss made theirs. In the end I’m happy because I’d rather have Lane sooner than later.

Did Lane know the consequences of taking said job? Yes or no?

If I take a better job with a competitor right now, my employer will fire me on the spot. Why is he any different?

Absolutely it’s their prerogative to do so. Ole Miss decided against it. That’s their right as well. In the end they did LSU a favor by letting us have our coach earlier.
