The dude was acting like he was going to take all their coaches if he stayed. Well he's gone and he took half of him anyway, he didn't need defensive coaches. He could have let Kiffin finish probably win a playoff game or two and who knows what else. But instead let his ego and pride get in the way of rationality. Tulane AD showed much more class but then again smarter people roam the campus at Tulane vs Ole Piss

Kiffin was reckless and negligent at the end of his working relationship with OM and showed complete disregard for a program having its moment.
Who else would have conducted themselves so poorly? This is uniquely Kiffin. He doesn't deserve our, or anyone else's, respect.

I am at a loss. You would think the OM AD had contingency plans in case Lane would leave. Why not pursue Sumerall, Kliff Kinsgberry or some other up and comer

Again if you listen to what I say the most legit thing I can point to is where lane was being interviewed before leaving and he didn’t say anything bad about his AD. Lane likely burned bridges that put pressure on the AD.

You’re right. They should let the coach who held the program hostage for weeks and turned it into a drama manure show coach in the playoffs. That way, Ole Miss can miss some of the December portal recruiting and run it in the face of the fan base more than he already has.
