It's been a theme all year.

Our total points by quarter (SEC play only)

Q1: 41 | Q2: 99 | Q3: 26 | Q4: 49

Amazing 2nd quarters, atrocious 3rd.

We have been held scoreless in the 3rd quarter 4 times (50%) and have scored a grand total of two touchdowns the entire year in the third.

Whatever we do or say at halftime needs reevaluating.

Corrected some numbers

Are we too conservative or something after half time? And then when we have to not be conservative its hard for them to get in rhythm? I really dont know.

I know that last night they were blitzing the helll out of us and we couldn't figure it out, or were just getting straight up beat.

This staff has a hard time adjusting to the adjustments that opposing teams throw their way.

Yeah, this is definitely a major flaw with this coaching staff. I'm not sure what the hell is going on. They can't seem to put it together for 4 quarters, but yet they are still winning most of their games.

I definitely think this is a huge part of it. We do much better when we attack. We tend to build leads thanks to great aggressive 2nd quarters and then get extremely passive.

That passivity allows the other team back into the game and we have a complete dog fight in the 4th quarter because of it. We ramp up the aggression again since the game is in doubt so the numbers go back up.

I was looking at Ty Simpsons splits earlier and noticed the 3rd quarter.

He has thrown the ball 94 times in the 3rd Quarter. In comparison, he has thrown the ball 102 times in the 1st quarter and 120 in the 2nd quarter.

I assume we end up running more in the 4th in attempts to shorten the game. He has only attempted 73 passes in the 4th.
