Big OOC Game

Miami could be left out, with a win over their scheduled marquee matchup. Texas would be in without the OSU game. There is a reality where Alabama could miss it with a BYU win, which could have been prevented by not scheduling FSU. Where is the incentive to schedule these games? The committee does not give a frick who you beat, only who you lost to. So what’s the point? Notre Dame will make the dance with the worst resume in the history of the playoff, apparently they’re the only team allowed to improve over the course of the season. At least that’s the narrative. They needed a late game interception to hold off 1-9 Boston College just a few weeks ago.

You lost to 4-8 Florida.
This is why you are staying home. A 2-loss Texas is all but automatic
See: Bama. They lost to the team that BADLY lost to the same team that beat you, then lost another LATE SEC game. Still alive.
Quit crying and deflecting.

Texas should have beaten Florida. Period. Zero excuses for that loss.

3 loses and one to the Gators is what it is. We just need to play OOC games with the same caliber of opponents as everyone else.
That’s on us.
That’s on us.

I’m curious why you say this. Knowing what we know now about the team Florida was this season. What makes you think week 5 Texas should have beaten Florida the swamp? What gives you some much conviction?

Why does an A&M fan have any opinions on the Texas schedule? Texas played five times the elite opponents.

Even if you'd beaten Ohio State, a loss to Florida is disqualifying. I'm not super happy about Bama being in either. But at least they have good QB play

All I heard was meow meow meow from some lil puss.

No it wouldn’t have. Notre Dame lost to some directional Indiana school last year at home.

I didn't say it would have. Because the committee is retarded and corrupt. I said that loss IS disqualifying. That's not a comment on what those fools would do.
ND's loss last year was also disqualifying, but they bring in ad dollars.

You think anybody is going to watch a potential Oregon vs North Texas matchup? BYU vs A&M? A Coach Less Ole Miss team vs whomever? Talk about all-time low viewership numbers.

I agree. That part of the system is dumb and needs to change. Networks will still want intriguing games and if schools decide to all pad the OOCGs I can see a 10 game conference schedule and front loading some of those early.

I don't give a runny shite what people watch. That's precisely my point. The "playoffs" aren't actually playoffs. They're a corrupt media driven money scheme.

Well how about this
Aggie boat raced Florida 1 week later
Everyone boat raced Florida
Except you

“Everyone Boat Raced Florida”. Florida nearly matched A&Ms offensive output. The game was a one possession game in the 4thQ. Florida was a “dropped ball” away from beat Georgia a couple weeks ago. Flordia traded blows with Ole Miss deep into the 4thQ. The only teams who “boat raced” Florida are Tennessee and Kentucky. Getting boat raced is when you only score 17 offensive points in two consecutive games.

Who should Texas replace out of the SEC?
11-1 UGA?
11-1 A&M?
11-1 Ole Miss?
10-2 Bama?
10-2 OU?
10-2 Vandy?
Record matters, bro. And there’s six teams ahead of the Longhorns. Maybe don’t crap the bed against Florida and UGA next time.
Horns are lucky they didn’t lose to Kentucky or the Fighting Cowbells.

You’re delusional
You got whipped by a 3 win team
That’s why you were eliminated from the playoffs weeks ago
You’re just making yourself look pathetic and sad

I’m an Aggie fan who lost a bet.

Yeah, and then we got our act together and crushed them.
