Nah, but he has to make playoffs in 3 of 5 seasons.

I'll take the over.

This feels very Jimbo to Texas A&M. These moves rarely pan out like everyone thinks.

Look at Lincoln Riley, Brian Kelly, etc.

He’s also going to be hated by the media from this point on-there will be no mercy.

FIFY. The local media will be in love, at least at first.

Is Metro going to retain Baker or go with a different defensive mind?

Someone sounds very scared of what the outcome of that may be. All these post about a coaching hire for another team says so, when your team has a championship game to play next weekend. Prove me wrong

This seems to be a perfect hire for LSU. They do not try to develop programs over the long term. They don’t show loyalty to their coaches so it makes sense for them to hire a guy who has no loyalty.

And that is fine. They have won a few titles this century doing that.

A program wanting to develop their identity for the next decade would/should never give Kiffin a second look.

It’s just like when you Swamprats said we were all soooo scared when you “took” Grindin Brian away from ND.

My man, the game is, has changed. We are not in the era of 20 year coaches anymore due to the NIL. Your team may face this same issue in a few years. Not a slam on OU at all. Think about the backlash in your town if y’all lost to LSU last night?

You need to worry about your clown show of a team.

Our DC is still better, for half the money.

Honestly, I'm thrilled with the hire. It's actually nice to think about having a real football coach who is respected for his football knowledge, rather than a muppet in a headset.

this you talking about kelly?
