So, I doubt it's permanent but Ole Miss is wise to make him and the staff feel like they have a legitimate chance at being there next year.
If it's permanent it's risky because he doesn't have previous HC experience. But if he manages to win playoff games, that would be a good sign.
As I recall, he's a pretty good recruiter.
