Lots of people saying he would leave in a few years for Bama. These are the same posters that said Bama has their championship coach. Which one is it?

No one is seriously thinking Kiffin leaves for BAMA. Alabama wouldn't have Lane, and that was before this most recent shite show. No thanks.

I’m not inventing anything. Just reading the hundreds of posts since last night saying he’s gonna leave for Bama or Texas in a few years. I honestly think he stays long term at LSU.

I don’t know why you’re confused here. Bama doesn’t want him. They didn’t want him when Saban retired, they don’t want him now, and they won’t want him in the future. And yet, if Bama did want him he’d jump in a heartbeat. There’s no contradiction, it’s really that simple.

Alabama knows about Lane because he was a douchebag in his time there. Saban managed it as well as he could but like it’s been said many times before - there’s a reason Byrne never considered him when Saban retired.

If Alabama wanted Lane we would've hired him two offseasons ago.
Let me repeat that, we had a head football coach opening 2 years ago and did not pursue Lane Kiffin.
