I’m so glad UF-LSU don’t play every year anymore

They’ve owned our asses with total retards and if we continued to play yearly now it’ll be a reverse of the spurrier years
LSU offers coaches big time contracts for themselves and assistants and NIL $ and an awesome game day environment
We offer coaches a tom petty sing a long while losing by 20 in the 3rd quarter
Thankfully the only time we’d see lsu now is in SECCG or playoffs and we won’t sniff either for another decade at least
Watching the fsu game I really thought UF should go to the ACC because we can regularly win 6-7 games there and be a perennial Gasparilla bowl contender

But I’m sad this annual game went away. The SEC expansion has taken LSU-UF and LSU-AU away from us all and it irks me.
On the upside for yall, I think Sumrall is going to be much better than Napier.

I don't disagree with you theCAW, but you are drifting into cuck territory in some cases trying to suck up to every other fan base.
We have our AD problems and we need to get it handled, but LSU has their own issues they are going to face. Their Kelley mistake will be infinitely more expensive then our Napier mistake.
Complain about UF all you want, but this praising other teams hoping they will take you under their wing is shite form.

FWIW, I’ve extensive family around the ULL program who kept up with Napier and some coaches that followed him to UF.
The general feeling I get is that Napier became a massive a-hole at UF deviating from his personality and coaching style at ULL that worked for him.
That’s on Napier. Hopefully Sumrall doesn’t fall into the same rut.

I mean if you guys joined any other conference you are a legit contender to make the playoffs every year. I think Sumrall will be a great coach. The expectations for Florida arent as high though.

I’d say we’d make a bowl every year in those conferences but that’s our ceiling
