Tennessee fans say Golesh was really the brains behind the system and not Bobby Hill.

I will say at USF though their QB play was atrocious

I like the hire, don’t get me wrong. Call me gun shy but I’m a little worried about another coach who calls his own plays.

I think considering the options it was probably the best option

Their QB Brown threw for 3100 yards, with 28 TDs and 7 INTs, 66% completion rate. He also ran for 1000 yards and 14 TDs.

What the hell are you smoking?

I would agree. Golesh was the next best available hire after Sumrall. I just think it's always risky to go after these G5 coaches as more often than not they don't work out.

No question. As I understand it, it is a very incentive-laden contract too, which I like.

In one of the top programs in AAC:

7-6
7-6
9-3

Decent hire but nothing special. We see how he does in the big leagues.

This seems like a good fit for Knight scheme wise. I’m not sure how he feels about his time at AU, but getting Daniels an extra year might make him a little impatient.

That “top program” that won 4 games the previous 3 years before Golesh was hired

Based on resources and location where would you put South Florida among those programs historically? Definitely top 3-4

We've been on the opposite sideline from this coach a few times. He's a good hire for Auburn.

We have played this guy a ton.. Brown couldn't throw unless the guy was wide arse open

They could have easily won in 23 if he was decent
