Sankey should be involving himself given that this involves two member schools

But he won’t because he’s a feckless worm in a gimp suit, sleeping in a box in the corner of an office in Bristol, CT

There was always an unwritten rule under Slive that SEC teams didn’t poach from each other.

Turns out he has always been the cancer at Ole Miss. That's pretty ruthless and Keith and Glenn must have really pissed him off.

This is the age where money talks and bullshite walks. Amazing since LSU doesn't have any.

What's that say about Ole Miss?

He’s too busy worrying about TV deals with the failing ESPN than he is actually running the conference.

Angry? Honestly, I don't think Alabama fans give a shite one way or another. At least I don't. All it is is entertainment for us.

Should he have stopped Georgia from hiring Kirby from Bama and bringing Scott Cochran and Dan Lanning with him when he left?

Kirby Smart was the head coach of Alabama? That's news to me.

What LSU does is its business, we’re doing just fine in Athens.

But Sankey has proven to be a shill for all the worst parts of the sport over and again. He should be brokering a separation while minimizing damage to a member school making the playoff. Instead, I really don’t know that the CFP Committee is going to let OM hang around in the field after this, much less host a first round game.

The calendar being totally fricked is the root cause of all of this but good leadership would have tried to navigate through it and push for future changes.

Was Kirby a DC moving to his Alma mater instead of the HC running the whole program? Did he hang around and help Bama win another national title in 2015 before departing? Was this also pre-portal era when he couldn’t take the whole roster with him if he wanted to?

Also, Lanning didn’t leave Bama for Georgia, he went to Memphis to be a position coach after finishing his stint as a GA at Bama. Cochran also didn’t leave until a few years later to be our ST coach because Saban wouldn’t promote him to an on field role from S&C Coordinator.

But nice try!

Ole Miss was the victim.

But the way they handled the situation from that point has made all of this deserved. They just wouldn’t accept Kiffin’s decision. And they wouldn’t make the exit easy. Instead, they played passive aggressive tactics that will ultimately hurt the program.

Frankly it resembled a program who had never has to deal with success.

Frankly, I bet you can't name a successful program that has ever gone through similar scenarios.

Does this mean that Auburn is forgiven for stealing Tubbs many moons ago?

I bet the SEC drops the hammer in the offseason to ensure this never happens again. You can’t have a dumpster fire program fricking up the bag for the conference and other institutions and wrecking playoff chances. There are ways to handle coaching searches without looking like a jealous home wrecker. LSU got what they wanted, but when they fall on their face because they hitched their wagon to that cancer, no mercy will be shown.

Go ahead and start the clock because it won’t take long for Lane to sticks his dick in the wrong boosters old lady. Seems to be a running tradition down there
