Would not have made a difference. We are a black pit of despair for any coach that comes in the door. Beamer never had it, but it even broke Spurrier. Kirby dodged a bullet.

Kirby would've still taken the UGA job. Maybe 2-3 years later.

First off, I wasn't the one that DV'ed you but need to say this. By your own admission, you watched ZERO gamecock football all year. I don't know if thats true or not. But maybe, just maybe, if you watched the games and didn't get your into on gamecocks athletics off social media you'd see the nuance of the games. With the exception of Vandy, where sellers was concussed, and Oklahoma where we had a bad game we were competitive in all of them. The ball didn't bounce our way this year. That's life.

Look, I get being a self depreciating gamecock fan, ive been one for close to 50 years. Some of my first memories are listening to Bob fulton call gamecock Football games on am radio in the 70s. But maybe put just a little more effort into supporting the team and less effort into running them down.

Close losses are the hallmark of Gamecock football history, and our fans eat that shite up. Just being in the SEC and sometimes being competitive is enough for 75%+ of this fanbase.

Decent enough coaches can muster at least one win from any one of those multiple scenarios this season too. Beamer is not a good coach. And he cannot hire good coaches. I give him White at this point.

He's a worse Dabo, except he's okay with NIL. Beamer is just a cheerleader and an embarrassment. He got schooled by Fat Bert and made to look like a fool.
