And basically let every game essentially turn into an advertisement for LSU football? Why on earth would OM agree to that?
They'd be better off letting their OC and DC have the reins and taking the risk that they'll have success with them. In the off chance that Golding and Weis can win a game or two in the playoffs, they don't have to hire out of house and didn't just promote the shite out of LSU - a heated rival

Blame needs to be placed on the NCAA not readjusting their calendar for NSD when the playoffs expanded forcing schools and coaches to make these type of decisions when conference finals and playoff implications are on the line…

I agree, may not be popular but he deserves to finish what he started. Just give Frank Wilson the must get list and the rest takes care of itself.

Well they did not. The problem lies with LSU and Florida firing their coaches mid season. You were always going to suck, firing your coaches did not benefit either team.
