I wish the very best to all of you and a big roll tide!
I know this is sports board, but y'all are family.
I'm smoking a turkey... My family requests it every year.
Very thankful to have my dad again this year. We almost lost him this year (pneumonia). We have a special guest this year. My son brought his girlfriend home (we like her). He graduated this spring from Bama and she's a grad student down there.
What about y'all?? What are you cooking and is there anything special you are thankful for this year?

My boys are doing lunch with their girlfriends' families so we are doing late dinner here at the house.

Ham
Stuffing
Green bean casserole
Corn casserole
Potato casserole
Mac and cheese
Mashed potatoes
Deviled eggs
Cranberry sauce
Sweet potato pie
It was so much easier when my grandparents were alive.

family's divided up this year so my dad and i went to cracker barrel. very fortunate to still have both my mom and dad.
p.s. my dad eats there so often that even with the place being packed, we only waited about 10 minutes, woohoo... thanks pops!
