SEC Academic Question

Does anyone in an SEC state have a college that is part of the University System of the state that has 25% international students overall, and 60% international post grad? I'm not talking about out of state, I mean out of country.
I don't have the time to research every college in an SEC state that is part of their state university system.
I'm asking if any of y'all know of any. I can only think of one.

Auburn has about 1% of its student body categorized as international. Not sure what you are doing in this thread.

That doesn't sound much like any SEC school to me. Most public universities in heavily populated states (Texas, Florida, Georgia) have an express mission to cater to local kids. The ones in more lightly populated states (Arky, LA, MS, AL, SC) tend not to be magnets for international students.
Is this about Georgia Tech? They are in an SEC state and you probably want to crap on them.

Dunno but I saw a lot of Chinamen and magic carpet riders on UA's campus this year.

I didn't say SEC school. I said SEC state university system.

Edits are time stamped, just make a new post to say "I get it now" instead of trying to pretend to be smart.

Most Intl students are in Grad school in STEM majors. Far fewer in Undergrad. The Grad students are a financial boon for the schools tuition wise.
For instance Texas and A&M both have around 90% of their students from the Texas. Grad school for many STEM majors though are overwhelmingly Indian and Chinese. They get their undergrad at home and come here for Grad school.
Most SEC schools have some level of similar profile, though the amount of in state students varies greatly. The lighter populated SEC states have 40-57% OOS students at the Undergrad level and a high percentage of foreign students at the Grad level. Alabama is the highest at 57%. UF is about 12% OOS. UGA is about 20%. Tennessee is about 23%.

Out of state does not equal out of country.

That would be the school that has won their last nine games v Auburn and has had the same Head Coach since 2016. And we call the fire hydrant Auburn.

I was guessing UT Dallas, but Google search says it has 20% international students.

Op I hope yall beat the living shite out of that bunch of woke Georgia Tech bitches. They push some seriously effed up shite in their curriculum and I am surprised the State of Georgia continues to put up with it.
I know exactly what I am talking about from first hand knowledge.

No you didn’t. You said this:
quote:

….which gave all of our phones AIDS. That’s the most unclear, awkward, poorly written shite I’ve seen on here in a while, and then you get all bitchy with another poster because you can’t write?

I get that. Like I said though there are few foreign students at the Undergrad level, they are overwhelmingly at the Grad level.

Correct! When I walked for my MS graduation at UT I was a speck of snow in a sea of Asians and Indians.

I was typing my edit when you responded. Is it GT or not?
Did you really start this thread to get a weird sideways shot at GT?

The typical die-hard old-school GT football fans are Georgia rednecks. It has to hurt them to see what their Institute has become, let alone their sports.
I know all colleges are woke. But GT is extra, and selling out at an extremely high rate to China. Which is fine if you are a private institution. But as part of the University System of Georgia, your first priority is Georgia, followed by neighboring states that don't have great tech schools. The MIT of the South, I'm all for it. But it's insane that it's allowable that a public university has an international student ratio that far out of whack.
Brian Kemp needs to take action. I would propose a limit of 49.999% of the total student body, undergrad and post grad, be international OR out of state. Or they can leave the public university system and operate as a private school and do whatever they want.

Do you actually believe all this BS or just lying? Tech’s foreign undergrad students are something like 8% of the student population.
