Oregon jumped ole Miss to 6 putting Ole Miss at 7. Miami up to 12 edging closer to ND to kick them out hopefully since them and bama remained 9 and 10. Pitt is ranked 22 so Miami has a chance at a ranked win to end the season.

Michigan at 15 in a prime spot to jump up and take an at large if they can take down OSU. Somehow Texas is fricking 16th? I don’t see much of a path for them.

Vandy hanging around at 14. Is there a shot they can make it?

Vandy is in after Ole Miss "fires" Kiffin from coaching the post-season

If they were smart, Ole Miss has their lawyers working on a termination with cause

Say Vandy boat races Tennessee who they have at 19. A 10-2 SEC team who ends the year like that has to be in right?

That’s one sure way to get bounced from cfp before ever playing.

You would think. Now this committee isn’t the most consistent. If Texas beats aTm nd the committee sees that they had a harder OOC schedule than Vandy, and they beat Vandy H2H, would they move Texas in there? Even though Texas has a third loss? I wouldn’t do it and I’m sure a lot in here wouldn’t do it. But money and brand carry a lot of sway in the CFP.

I actually think Texas has a better chance than I thought pre release of these. I assumed zero but they’re at 16.

Right now BYU and Miami at 11 and 12 are just place holders. They hold head to head over 14 Vandy. Utah at 13 is a fools errand they have no shot, Michigan right in front of them at 15 is likely to lose.

Yeah apparently you don’t have to pay buyouts any more.

No, they can’t do that because the committee has signaled to them and Lane now.

The party who initiates the severing of the relationship between the two will be responsible for losing the CFP berth.

That will be either Ole Miss or Lane.

That’s what’s being served up here.

Idk man. They’re in very similar boats with opportunities to beat undefeated teams.

Texas will be jumped by any legit two loss team. The committee doesn’t care about anything but your losses as Alabama has found out

They should. Vandy played 3 win Va tech. Texas played undefeated osu in their house. That’s the difference

We need Tenn annd tech to win and either bama, nd, or ou to lose, preferably not ou and win of course.

There’s a shot but it’s unlikely.

If yall beat A&M, Vandy loses to Tennessee, and Pitt beats Miami while OSU takes care of business yall might be in the mix for sure

Even with that happening blind resume with each 10-2 Texas has a better resume if each played and won in the OOC.

Plus they beat Vandy H2H.
