Sir, this the Rant. ranter literary appreciation goes no further than the lyrics of "Yaw yaw football!".

You just gave SEC Shorts an idea for their next script.

It has already been done. The movie was named Roxanne starring Steve Martin.

The one with Jose Ferrer is still the best.

How have they not had a game of Texas Hold em with UF, LSU and Ole Miss? So many funny ways that could go.

And have a NY Giant and Miami Dolphin come up at the end, "Hey, fellas, mind if we join?"

*Of course, the dealer is Jimmy Sexton

Cyrano is really not a good literary reference for the current situation, but it's the Rant.

Better something from Shakespeare I'd think. Doomed lovers, side act clowns, that sort of thing.

Sorry for the not entirely sober post. This was in reference to a halftime interview of Stephen Pearl. Has quite the schnoz. Couldn’t find a pic that I thought was on the nose.
