Texas fans. What is the plan to deal with our edge rush?

They held OU every play. So that’s likely their plan.

I'd say that too if I got zero sacks against our shitty OL.

One big difference. We are undefeated and you have three losses. But other than that it’s completely the same thing.

How about we just play our game.

If we win they sit home and watch us in the CFP.

If they win they still sit home and watch us in the CFP.

Goosby threw Scourton, Howell, and Stewart out the club last year. He was cold off the bench too. Hopefully he has an encore.

That’s likely the message. Just be who you’ve been all year but every down.

And yes, this game has no impact on our postseason other than seeding and the SEC championship. Personally I think winning the SEC championship would be a great next step for the team.

OU crying about OL holding after getting away with it for 20+ years in the B12 is ironic.

Is that you Alanis?

Yall essentially had the same advantage last year. Your front was even better imo. We came in that game struggling. I was worried about the run game because we couldn’t run on anyone, Quinn was coming off a rough stretch where he was turning the ball over consistently. He continued that trend in College Station. We also lost Kelvin Banks in the first offensive possession. Yet we controlled that game and it never quite felt close even with Quinn’s whimsical turnovers. One thing that’s underrated in college football analysis is schematic matchups. Like Boxing, styles make fights, and some styles just are more effective. Sometimes it’s not that a team is “objectively” better, but they just are bad matchup. Sark seems to have success against teams who are ultra aggressive in how they deploy their front 7. OU has all these gaudy defensive stats because of their style, but it gets them in trouble with Sark every single October under Venables. We’ll see if Elko adjusts or sticks to the DNA of his 4-2-5.

Their OL is worse than LSU's. Should be interesting to watch

I’d say Texas had the superior OL and DL last year.

I will agree with your point that Sark uses misdirection and screens to use over-aggressiveness against the defense.

Maybe Texas is otherwise similar to last year. But I believe with an inferior OL, and without a lot of interior DL draft picks. LB play might be improved.

However, A&M is very different at OL, WR, RB, DL, and Secondary.
