It may be due to one guy doing everything. There's another dude that does one too and I feel the same way about his. But I just can't get into these.
Obviously, some do really like this dude. To each their own. Not a critic of your post, just thinking out loud here.
I do find the SEC Shorts funny.

I feel like his writing is frequently much better than the SEC shorts they probably should cross the streams and bring him into the fold to help the quality of their skits + give him the ability to interact with other characters.

He has a lot bigger audience than they do currently. Also multiple channels. Hes making bank.
