I know Myles Garrett will probably win the NFL DPOY award again but just watching Will Anderson showing signs of a DPOY type player at any given time….think about it man.

Pat Surtain II and Will Anderson were ON THE SAME TEAM FIVE YEARS AGO….which btw wasn’t a top 10 defense. The last 5 years of Nick’s tenure will always be scarred by hiring just GENERATIONAL BUMS at coordinators. I mean jeez, how does O’Buttchin and Golding still have a job….

We’re still feeling the results. Look at the lack of talent in the OLine and RB room.

That defense was lowkey littered with players that are now NFL starters and contributors.

In our lifetime we might see Pat Surtain II win multiple DPOY and Will Anderson win it at least once and they were both within yards of eachother on the field for about 80 plays every game in 2020.

Thank god they both have an NC to their name but still. That neckbearded cock sucker prevented at least 2 more for both of them. At least.

That along with the fact Bryce did not win a natty is absolutely insane, and it’s all in the coordinators doing too much.

Wasn’t Dallas Turner opposite Anderson in 2022/2023?

I remember thinking we’d be absolutely unstoppable on the edges and then we had them dropping into coverage and then always taking insane routes to the QB that saw them delay and stunt and hop 3 slots inside to rush up the middle from their outside position. Completely taking them away.

I remember thinking it would have been a better coaching job to simply give them zero instruction.

That and losing his two human cheat codes at WR during the infamous rematch.

I believe that Saban probably has at least two more titles if he doesn't hire Golding. It took the greatest offense in college football history to win the one title they got with Golding, because there were two games that year (Ole Miss and Florida) where his unit didn't manage to force a punt. And remember that Golding also embarrassed the university off the field with multiple DUI arrests and his dad calling into Finebaum to challenge a fan to a fistfight. He was a total disgrace in every way.

By the way, Auburn should interview Golding for their head coach opening.
