Dude was spewing out bizarre BS. Suddenly rushing yardage is a data point?!?!? Someone tell the air raid offense teams. Bama's rushing yardage apparently is a more important evaluation point than 4 ranked wins vs 1 ranked win?
Not trying to argue about Bama in the CFP...but putting ND ahead of Bama in the ranking takes some serious dead brain cells. They said strength of schedule would be a bigger factor now...looks the exact opposite after the comments from that assclown that has no business chairing anything. I'm embarrassed for the committee trotting that ahole out. He destroyed any tiny amount of credibility the cfp committee pretended it had.

If alabama's coaching staff has any sense, they'd run for 800 yards against eastern Illinois Saturday.

They already have, that's why we have the playoffs to begin with.
And then the ADs of the smaller schools said, "Ohh us too, we want to say we made it into the first round, and hey, give us a cut of those sweet checks!" and so they added AQs for middle school conferences.

Nobody likes reruns. The television executives are the ones who dictate every move of the playoffs. You don’t want to see “northern” teams? Beat ‘em. Illinois beat the 4th best team in the SEC last year. Michigan beat Bama, OSU beat Tennessee and Texas, USC beat aTm.

How does lil ol Arkansas have not 1 but 2 AD's that are chosen to lead the CFB playoff/bowl system. I guess they figure our AD will be unbiased since we have no chance of getting there and get our heads thumped by the teams that do.
