What’s your season to season expectations and before you say national titles. Expecting a National title every year is delusional. What do yall want from y’all’s next coach whether it’s kiffin or another guy.

10 wins and finish in the top 10 every year. That's really where it ends for me.

Playoffs 2 out of 4 years
Semifinals 1 out of 4 years
Championship appearance 1 out of 8 years
I don't expect a deep run every year but we should be in the playoff conversation most years and make the occasional run with a floor of 4-5 losses.

Well, Kirby is probably King right now so yeah you shoot for those type of results.
And we would prefer it to be entertaining.
I guess you are saying you want to pitch to Lane "but you don't have to win as much here at Ole Miss." Meh

LSU should be expected to make the playoffs.

More often than not a 9-3/8-4 season record. Playoff appearance once every 3-4 years on average.

People will focus more on the 3 National Championships in the last 22 years, as opposed to what happened in 1910.
3 of the last 4 LSU Coaches have won a National Championship at LSU. That isn't an opinion. That is factual

In the past 25 years that LSU has actually made a commitment to winning championships, LSU has won 3 championships.

*appearances
LSU has played for 4 national titles in the last 25 years. 1 of 8 on average seems reasonable.

It's been 6. Are you taking bets you'll win one in the next 2 years?

I realistically expect to be in the playoffs damn near every year and a national championship every five years or so.
I’m serious.

In the playoffs every year barring significant injury to QB. 12 teams, no excuses. Simple as that.

LSU has made the playoffs once in the 11 year history of the playoffs. LSU will be 1 for 12 after this season. No one makes it every season. Most appearances.
Bama: 8/11
Clemson: 7/11
Ohio State: 6/11
Georgia: 4/11
Oklahoma: 4/11
Notre Dame: 3/11
Michigan: 3/11
Expecting to finish in the top 10 every season is another fantasy. LSU has finished ranked in the AP top ten 22 times out of 132 seasons. Nick Saban finished ranked in the top ten 2 out of 5 seasons. Miles did it 5 of 12 seasons. Orgeron did it 2 of 5 seasons. Dietzel did it 3 of 7 seasons. Those four coaches accounted for 12 of LSU’s 22 top ten finishes, and not one of them managed to even do it 50% of the time.

Expectation should be 10 wins and a playoff birth every year. Is that realistic, no. So a few 9 wins or less seasons here and there won't end the world for LSU. Some of my fellow fans are delusional when it comes to expectations.
