No sources, just gut instinct.
I'm not completely sold on him, but he's an alum and worked with Spurrier. And there is that plane from Gainesville to Seattle (or vice versa).
I would be more excited if he was still at Arizona rather than season 2 at a regressed Washington team. That loss to Wisconsin was awful.
I certainly think its a better hire than Drink or Kliff FWIW.

I lean against it as I don't think they belive he is worth paying Washington 11 million or whatever it is.
Riley is in a little hot water but no way USC can fire him yet with his crazy payout. I can't find what a team would have to pay if he leaves voluntarily though.

Yeah I agree, the WCU Catamounts are not catching anyone's eye. Granted its hard to win consistently in that conference, but I don't think he's even been approached.

Fisch would be very good...please do not put him with Drink...very different coaches. What Fisch has done at Washington is very good, and he is a Gator Grad.
