Texas and Oklahoma!!!!

Texas was in the big 12 at the time but weird stat either way. The league is super deep now more than ever with programs that can win on any given year.

Saban’s a once in a lifetime coach there definitely not going to win at the same rate with any other coach. They can be elite but saban was a machine.

Alabama turned the ball over 3 times on its own end of the field. You can’t beat a FCS team doing that. It reminded me of the Ole Miss game a few years back where Bama turned the ball over 5 times in one game.

You mean Oklahoma forced three turnovers against the Tide, don’t get it twisted.

It doesn’t really matter if OU forced the turnovers or the Bama players walked up and handed the OU players the football. It all resulted in the same thing. You can’t turn the ball over that deep in your own territory and expect to win football games. It’s just that simple.

Man you’re having a rough year

1. You’re flexing over a game that happened 2 years ago

2. You’re dickriding your “rival” for a victory they had

Same reasons that Bama beat GA. Costly turnovers and GA beating themselves not taking the FG and being injured on the whole right side.

Same rules apply

OU crushed Bama with hard hits and forced turnovers…. Not one turnover was just given to OU. Stats don’t win games …

Also Bama had zero points in the 4th qtr. OU defense put the clamps on their last 4 drives.

Yeah, I think y'all and South Carolina probably have the best defenses we've faced (or will face) during the regular season.

Venables has been giving us fits for what seems like decades. He's like our defensive version of Gus Malzahn.

It's about perspective, not about getting it twisted. You know good and hell well if y'all would have fumbled the ball three times (as we did) and only lost by two y'all would be saying the same thing. Two things can be true, OU did a great job of forcing turnovers and Alabama gave the game away by allowing it. No need to get bitchy about it.

Well if folks really want to nitpick then they should go watch how those turnovers occurred.

1st one was the int for a TD. Should have been flagged. The Wr was pretty much mugged. It’s why Ty missed the throw so bad. He was throwing a slant to a spot and the Wr got mugged and the pass was picked.

2nd turnover was the Ryan Williams fumble on a kickoff or punt. The OU player made a great play punching the ball out. The problem was that Williams should have either fair caught the ball or just got what he could and then got down. He was trying to do to much making move after move in traffic and was going nowhere. He was pretty much asking for someone to come punch the ball out carrying the ball that loose in all that traffic. Very poor ball security.

3rd and last turnover was the sack fumble. Bama had a freshman in I think. He was in position to block. Instead he never touched the guy and let him run right by and smoke Ty in the back. The Bama lineman never even put his hands up to try to block. That’s only the 4th time among several different players on that side of the line that has let Ty get sacked like that this year because they didn’t bother to do anything other than watch a guy run right to Ty and about kill him. That’s the 4th time I can remember off the top of my head I should say. Plus that’s just the right side of the line. The left has given up a few like that a time or two this season also.

We beat ourselves is a pretty damn good description.
