When he went for it instead of kick the field goal to go up 7, I was really surprised. There were a few calls that would have really bothered me if he were my head coach. That said, I would rather have those problems than Napier problems.

Quite honestly, it’s not about doing better. It’s about not having a drama filled “will he/wont he” storyline every 3 years. It’s tedious as frick.

Maintaining a winning program is often an exercise in tedium.
If you want him gone the odds of your program being a contender may very well evaporate.

Other coaches don’t handle this like he does and you’re being willfully obtuse. All the tweets and posts that are a wink and a nudge but never fully coming out and saying anything. He loves to acknowledge that people want him coaching elsewhere and to keep the bidding war going to inflate his own ego.
It’s not the fact that we have to compete to keep him, it’s that he so enjoys the groveling that it makes me nauseous.

Wins with an annoying coach or losses with a milquetoast one, I know what I would pick.

I'd be ok if he comes but if not...no big deal.
Many UF fans would probably disagree but I'd take Franklin with a top OC.
My only concern with Fisch is short-term wise, im not sure how well he would do in the portal in January because he's been on the west coast mostly.
Not sure how well known he is in the SE.
Long-term I think he would be better than Franklin.

I do. It affects my enjoyment of the hobby. To be consistently lambasted for attendance and commitment to the program by this dipshit for him to potentially leave during a playoff run is hypocrisy at its finest.
