If you are in why would you want to play in it? Players sure for pride, but in the big game take the rest and no possibility of injuries.

I think the extra difficult game plus the bye is a double negative. The team you play after the bye is already in playoff form and has played during the layoff.

Defensively we have come around and are playing decently. Offensively we have regressed.
Run up the middle on first down. Do something on second to allow the defense to blitz hell out of our QB on third.
