I know Georgia is hiring Anthony Grant, what's Alabama going to do? Any names surfacing that are legit possibilities?

I dunno, but I think we should look into that Mark Gottfried fellow. Heard he is available to coach.

* Please, Jeebus....Let it be someone of Lane Kiffen ilk. Basketball in the SEC needs the entertainment value *

This time last year we all knew LSU and South Carolina were hiring Anthony Grant. Why is this 'young ,up and comer' 'who can sit back and pick his next job' choosing the Georgia Bulldogs ??

+1

I think he will be a sleeper until the season is done. He won at UAB, has done a good job at Mizzu. It would be easier for him to consistently win at Bama than it would be to consistenly beat Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, etc.

I'd be surprised if he left Mizzou for 'Bama. Could happen, but I doubt it.

Mike Anderson, Mike Davis, Anthony Grant......all peas in the same pod. None of them will put much fear into the SEC.

well, he's better than all of those 3. 2 sweet 16's at 2 different schools and coach of the year in 2 different conferences. difference is now he can get talent. hell, we consistently were better than Alabama with BRADY.
