As in all places, where a coaching change takes place, the committed recruits receive calls, inquiries, etc from other schools looking to poach them away. Had lunch in Town n Country, and heard from a solid guy that most of the recruits are being told, or sold that Kiffin will be the coach at UF. There have been no mass decommitments, and it's actually been pretty quiet on that front. It's still like reading tea leaves, but these kids have money deals now, and the facilitators of those current deals would be the ones feeding them info. Again, it's not the gospel or a done deal...but I find that quite telling.

Nope. Not a peep. I did hear there is a FSU commit that is talking to our coaches, but no details at all.
I herd plenty from my Florida friends, about Drink as a HC. They like Drink, think he's done solid work, has brought Mizzou up to par...BUT..he's not for them in general, and the majority DON'T want him to be the next coach at UF. They might settle for him, if they whiff on their 1st 2 candidates, but they want Kiffin, or James Franklin as a consolation prize.

Agreed, & other major factors are the position coaches & their relationships, and the actual school. UF is a very good school itself, & Gainesville might not be for everyone, but these kids committed to UF with Billy as the HC, knowing he was on the hotseat, well aware he could be fired. But they're hearing Kiffin is the guy, and I'm sure they've heard from more than one source, or tt fellow recruits and players.
