You better hope so, or Ole Miss is going be embarrassed again on a national stage.

Look upon and despair you chicken tender troglodytes. Even with superior talent and coaching, the bearsharktoddys might get knocked out of the playoffs again by a Sunbelt Billy product.

The grass is always greener in Gainesville, so jot that down.

Come home Lane.

No. Not even close, but the combination of him and Lacy together is what Dart lacked last season. We played the 5th string WR at RB that day.

Based on 24/7’s team talent composite, Florida is much more talented than Ole Miss. Florida sits at 12th while Ole Miss is 21st. The amount of raw talent that Florida has makes their 3-6 record even more embarassing.

Thats not a huge difference. I would be willing to bet Lagway and maybe 1 other player are the only differentiators in those rankings

Florida has 4 five stars and 48 four stars, a total of 52.

Ole Miss has 3 five stars and 33 four stars, a total of 36.

61% of Florida’s roster is four star or better. 42% of Ole Miss’ roster is four star or better. That is a pretty big difference, it isn’t just a couple of players.

This isn’t a knock on Ole Miss. It is a knock against Florida.

I think the 24/7 roster composite is flawed; it doesn’t differentiate for experience/improvement of upper class players and it weights all positions the same. In today’s game the QB is the most important player on the field, offensive and defensive linemen are next. A team could have a ton of talent everywhere but QB and be ranked high in talent but struggle on the field (i.e. Florida and LSU). Or they could have a stud QB but be ranked way down in total talent and still win (i.e. Vandy; 55th in talent with only 12 four stars and zero five stars but they have Pavia). But it is at least an apples and apples way to compare raw talent of teams.

Ole Miss should be able to take care of Florida. It will be interesting to see if Florida quits again like they did against Kentucky.

Dart had no running game outside of his own.

Offense is better balanced this year. Team talent is not what it was.

And half your team didn't quit last year like they have this year.
