The fact that an undefeated SEC team who also beat Notre Dame(who the committee loves) is sitting there at #3 is egregious. They didn't even have the balls to move them to #2 despite the fact that they throttled Mizzou on the road while Indiana had to have a last minute miracle in Happy Valley.
frick the committee. We need some type BCS formula where it's a mix of polls & computers. No sense in having a bunch of useless people sitting in a hotel conference room trying to figure out what is the most politically correct placement for each team.

I don't even care at this point. We still have 3 games to play and a possible SECCG before it even matters. Even then, the committee is probably going to set the rankings in such a way as to maximize the likelihood of the B1G vs. the SEC in the championship game because it puts more eyes on televisions.

I get it, but this is why the committee is so lazy and useless. They can sit back and rank teams, not based off of merit, but where it's convenient for them to rank them. They know A&M fans will say, "well we're in the top 4 so frick it". It gives them permission to keep grifting off the college football world.

Here’s why it matters: if we win out in the regular season, but drop a game to in the SECCG, they are setting us up to drop out of the top 5.

I’m just not surprised. A&M isn’t a media darling and doesn’t get any preferential treatment.
A&M was excluded from the playoff in 2020 for Notre Dame. Nothing is just handed to A&M.
Maybe eventually that can change with more strong seasons stacked up. We’ll see.

Lose to Bama and go 12-1

Committee wants #1 vs #2 for B1G Championship. Also, Mack Rhoades went to IU as did that dumb chick who cannot shut up. A&M is anything but a lock as people keep saying. One loss, and the committee drops them like a rock.
