And both have been largely irrelevant on the historical college football landscape except for a couple of decades of glory.

Consider that nearly three decades ago that leaving Ole Miss for Auburn was a no brainer. Now it's not a given with UF and LSU.

LSU and Florida are beggars on the side of the road looking for a coach while Texas A&M is the undefeated conference frontrunner.
