I think he recommended Houston Nutt as a replacement when he left in 2004. I think that he’d do the same now.

Saban hasn’t had any professional link to LSU in decades and they still think he’s going to be involved with them. Dude is still paid $500k a year in an advisory position at UA on top of his ESPN gig. He’s set.
