Miss State is
13th in scoring defense
15th in rushing defense
8th in passing defense
14th in total defense
If we play a halfway decent game we should outscore them, outrush them, and outpass them.
And beat them by 20 points.

So, they’re a top 15 defense in all of those categories and you think we should beat them by 20 points… with the way we’ve played this year.

I feel good about this game for some reason. I think we see a healthy dose of the run game Saturday.

Those are SEC stats. Now that our o-line is healthy, we should be able to lean on their d-line for 4 quarters and score a lot of points. I just wish Schumann would dial up some pass rushing.

Film Guy's bold prediction was that we rush for 300 yards. To get to that point it would take a 50 yarder from Branch or Bell or Humphreys, but I'm all for the idea.

I’m still not convinced we’ll win by 20 points until we actually do.
MSU has beaten a decent ranked Arizona State team and had like 3 other SEC games they easily could’ve won.

Until we can stop any team playing pitch and catch against our D I have no confidence. If Lagway was an accurate passer Florida would have eating our lunch and our season would be hanging by a thread. Probably can insert a few other QBs we've faced in the same category. At this point it's a given we will have receivers running open behind our secondary.

Wish I had a nickel for ever time we've blitzed LB up the middle into an already clogged line. At some point one would think we would rethink what obviously isn't working. After 10 weeks if it hasn't worked chances are it's not gonna work.
