Kentucky fan, are y'all about to join the prestigious fired coach club?

And if so, who do you think is on your hot board?

Drink is available, and Kentucky is at minimum one rung on the program ladder above Mizzou.

No. We'd have to pay roughly 50 million for him and his assistants. Not too mention, we're eating like 10th...

No. Nothing will happen after the Florida game, win or lose. Our AD isn't prone to emotional decisions like lsu.

While true, I don't see why we would have interest in him. It would be sumrall or the Oregon OC

Why are you saying it will be Sumrall or the Oregon OC if Stoops is still the HC for next year? Plus Kentucky basketball program is better than Mizzou basketball program. But Kentucky football program isn't better than Mizzou football program.

I kinda feel sad for Kentucky. They’re in Stoops chokehold and can’t get out

Perhaps Mizzou will hire Stoops away after Drink leaves for the Tulane vacancy

Doesn’t play A&M this year.

He's safe.

That's the goal. Or at the least our offensive coordinator

Yall already fired your coach. Do us a solid and beat us by 50. If we win, stoops trots out on those sidelines again in 2026. If not Sumrall is coming home. Help a brother out.

Yep.

If you want a coaching change we need to lose to Florida at home. Then a loss to either vandy or Louisville will likely signal the end.

Worst case scenario is we go 5-7 with our losses being very close in competitive games.

But I also think Stoops might want to leave on his own and gets us out of this mess himself.

Depends on rest of the season but most likely, yes.

If we beat Florida he may be back. If we somehow beat Florida, Tennessee Tech, and then either Louisville or Vandy, we are going bowling and he is definetly back.

I doubt that Kentucky will fire Stoops with all of the other chaos going on within the conference.

Why..??? Kentucky is not going to be shelling out extra NIL money in the near future.

If anything, they will put more money into the basketball program.

Stoops main goal is to make it to a bowl game. Period.

You’re using too heavy a line.

Agreed. And he didnt get there last year. If he doesn't get there this year he may be gone.

5-7 he might come back but if he loses to Florida, Louisville, and Vandy we are 4-8 again (assuming the fcs game is a W) and I suspect he doesn't get another year due to how many fans are mad.

I agree its not a good year to be looking for a coach and I am skeptical if anyone else can do significantly better than Stoops assuming nil is as poor as it sounds like for footba
