...for simulating his own snap count?
I'm gonna fold some laundry. When I get back, I expect to be educated.

A qb(or anyone else) cannot fake a snap through words or movement. What do you not understand about that?

The offense, not just yours but everyone's, lives and dies by manipulating the snap count. I can't believe he got called doe that but I also can't believe auburn did

Not sure what you mean. I've seen several defenses get called for simulating the offensive snap signals. Georgia's been called for it in the past. I've never seen it called against the offense.

When and where was the last time it was called before
Gunner?

Quit trying to deflect on the completed pass

Go back and watch…it’s not so much the loud clapping, it’s the smooth and mostly unnoticed movement/motion/placement of his arms/hands that the ball has been snapped and he’s getting ready to catch the snap. Hardly ever gets called unless the defense reacts….and still not called sometimes.

I have seen it called on quarterbacks under center when they throw their head up or down like they are starting a snap

Stfu you won the game despite this

I mean that if an offense is allowed to do a million things to trick you into thinking the play has begun, the defense shouldn't be penalized because that's what the offense decided to use as their decoy

Qas he doing a regular clap or the Kirby "T" clap?

What they called is supposed to be the rule, but it’s rarely enforced.
Bama got it called on them in the last few years. I want to say it was Mac Jones, but I’m going straight from memory. Could’ve also been Bryce.

In what way did he do this?

Nah, Imma bake a cake instead. Some things just mean more.

I think it’s because of how many times he clapped. 9 quick claps in a row.

I don’t have a link.
It has been awhile since I’ve seen it but like all other offense players you can’t start to move before the snap (unless you are in motion)

That's not what I was asking. You said this:

What I'm saying is that I've seen defenses called for delay of game numerous times for clapping to simulate the offensive snap signal. Maybe I've just missed it, but I thought it was a penalty that only applies to defense because I've never seen a quarterback in shotgun penalized for that.

Which one? Surely not that one that hit the grass right?
