Only 3 teams in my opinion are blue bloods across the country. Ohio state, bama, Georgia. The ones that claim they’re blue bloods, their teams have been middle and below tier in the conference for 5-10 yrs now.

I don't think you know what blue blood means.

Some truth.
Blueblood status is only an advantage if you have NIL funds that are competitive now. Players care first and foremost about getting paid now. Everything else is secondary.

There are 8 blue bloods.
Alabama
Oklahoma
Texas
Ohio St
Michigan
USC
Notre Dame
Nebraska
These are the teams that received the majority of national media attention while the sport was becoming popular. They kind of built the sport and it's popularity.
You're just talking about the programs that are doing well lately. In college football these things come and go. 20 years ago people were shitting on Alabama constantly.
In short, stop getting bent about the term. It doesn't mean shite on the field and it's not like you must be a blue blood to have success.

You really think there are only 3 blue bloods.

Blueblood status is set 4 life, you're not simply removing that status
Michigan literally just won a natty 2 years ago
Texas and OU will always be considered bluebloods
But....is Georgia a Blueblood??? ??

Blue bloods actually means "old money family"....
They say that Corny Vanderbilt's family is so big now that they are hardly any rich people left as the wealth has become diluted.
So what you are saying is the football equivalent that the Vanderbilts are no longer "blue bloods"

UGA is not a blue blood. They’re more nouveau riche

Dude .... LSU has two Heisman winners and two National Championships in the modern era this century/millennium.
Fail OP
ETA: OP clearly referenced SEC bluebloods. He's even more off base if he's talking nationally.

So does the cowboys count as a “blue blood” in the NFL even though they’ve only won 4 playoff games in the last 25 years. If we are just basing it off history than Robert E. Lee was a blue blood of the south but look how that turned out.

Only 5 true blue bloods.
Alabama
Ohio St
Oklahoma
Notre Dame
USC
Next tier would be Michigan, Texas, Nebraska (yes, it's possible to lose blue blood status, difficult, but possible).
Then you get to Georgia, LSU, Penn St and the Florida schools in some order.

Texas and Michigan are brands...but they don't have the championships to be blue bloods. They think they are...but aren't.

You don’t understand the term or don’t want to.
Yes, Dallas is 1000% a blue blood of the NFL.
And your Robert e Lee example is silly to compare.
