Let's list 'em.
I've only been here for like 3-4 years, and I know A&M has had some epic melts, but this one is pretty damn juicy. We got coaches, ADs, politicians, 3 high-profile vacancies, poor taxpayers footing the bill, odd comments about BCS implications...

The real melt is going to occur when they have to hire the quality control grad assistant from Emporia State because that's all they can afford who actually wants the job.

The 30for30 or Netflix doc that comes out in a few years is going to be awesome.
Maybe they could recover some of the Kelly money that way...some type of licensing deal.

To your point - his public comments are primarily to gain political points.
But I listened to Gov Landry interview.
He is stating that he hasn’t heard of any Big Money Donors paying for the buyout …. so if they don’t, then that would mean the LSU Athletic Department would be paying it.
State school… so taxpayers indirectly.

This melt is on a larger scale than individual tRant posters though. Since Governor Ann Richards made us bring Baylol to the Big 12, I haven't seen a politician strong arm college athletics the way Landry seems to be doing.
Reminder: none of the last 5 days occur if LSU beats A&M.
The matches were being lit for Kelly.

What melt? The only thing I think LSU fans would melt over is if we had fig male cheerleaders and had never won a championship in anything, ever.
