What is the worst thing that can happen? The last two Coaches he hired got the two largest buyouts in CFB history.

Dude, Woodward "stole" Jimbo from FSU and settled on Kelly only after he tried to "steal" Jimbo from the Aggies and got him the extension.
Getting hired by Woodward is a wonderful thing.

He didn't sign the extension but he did sign the initial terms which were applied to the extension which guaranteed it all.
And he most definitely signed the BK contract.

LSU is utilizing the "morals code" in Kelly's contract and he's only getting 20 million.

What exactly did he do to bring this down to a moral code violation? Not arguing the $20mm settlement but losing 3 game when I have 4+ games to play, I would expect the full meal deal. If he settled for 20 I would guess he knows he can't spend that much money anyway.
