Did he ever add anything meaningful to Heupels offense?

I think he was good in the sense, he knew the system and playcalled well enough.

Did he add anything? no.

Best our offense has ever been was under him. He will make a fine head coach at a big school. Hope its not florida

He also had Hendon Hooker and ran Heupel’s offense so I guess the question is can Heupel’s style of play translate to a championship and I don’t know if we know the answer to that question. I don’t know that it can on the defensive side of the ball

I'd say that was more to do with Hooker, personally.

I think he was an outstanding OC for us. However, our offense being as good as it has been to this point this year has diluted the impact he might've had on it. During the years post Hendon it seemed like Golesh was the missing piece. Now it seems like it offensive success might be more Heupel system than Golesh and we just had bad QBs the last few years. Overall I think any tennessee fan was very happy with his time in Knoxville and think highly of him

He is a tenacious recruiter, great play caller, and he must inspire his players pretty well given how they played against Bama and Florida as of recent.

Think he would do well at LSU?

Worried about too much finesse over toughness.

I think after this year you have to wonder how much of that was him and how much of it was the QB.

I think he is a good coach either way and clearly has adopted the system for himself and put his own spin on it, but I think Heupel is really the brains behind the offense in Knoxville.

Yes. He was instrumental in evaluating, recruiting, and is a better play caller than Heupel.

Kiffin to Florida, LSU gets there guy and PSU or Ole Miss steals Golesh.

I would rather he go to PSU.
