Is Kiffin really better than Kelly?

Honest question. The thing that sucked most about having to get rid of Napier is the coaching market right now isn’t that great.
Sure, there’s Kiffin. And yes, I still want Kiffin over the other candidates based on potential. But, LSU getting rid of a coach that had had a better record than most coaches is crazy. I’m not sure Kiffin is even it, I just know he’s a significant upgrade from Napier.
But you all have to admit that even with Kiffin, there are no guarantees. He sucked at the other big time programs he was at.
Was it really worth getting rid of Kelly? What if Kiffin chooses Florida? (I doubt this will happen, but it’s possible). You all could really be fricked.

Yes Kiffin is better than Kelly and Sunbelt Billy however Kiffin had multiple NFL players on the roster last year and was projected to make the playoffs and possibly a natty by nearly everyone and still lost to Kelly and Sunbelt Billy and randomly to a dog shite Kentucky team.
I’d like to keep Kiffin but it’s not the end of the world if we do lose him.

He is one of the most creative minds in coaching. But he takes unnecessary risks like trying to convert a 4th down and 10 in his side of the field in the 1st quarter.

Since Kiffin became a genuinely good Head Coach (post USC), he hasn't been at a program with a stellar recruiting footprint. I'm not counting FIU because no one could get great talent there. Now put him in a state, Louisiana, that has ZERO in-state competition for recruits and has a borderline cult-like atmosphere where kids are brainwashed into loving LSU from birth. Les Miles and Ed Orgeron were total morons, and even in down years they'd have the majority of the blue-chip recruits in the state sign up to play for them. He'd still be the portal king, but he'd be balancing it out with much better recruiting classes because of the quality of in-state talent in Louisiana and the fact that he's right next to Texas.
