Why the frick not. He looks miserable on Gameday and he can just get a GM to handle the payment of players. LSU lacks discipline and toughness more than anything else.

it's a non-zero percent chance.

I actually wish they’d hire Saban just to prove how much Alabama benefited Saban and no one can consistently win at LSU

It would be a fun story but not happening.

Nick Saban is not coaching in college anymore. If the right circumstance comes along in the NFL he might give that a shot just to see if he can add a Super Bowl to career stats. Other than that I can’t see it. The man has built a legacy at Bama like no other outside of Bryant. The field is named after him. Why would he ruin all of that to go coach some other college for 4-5 years. He will be 73 or 74 next week.

What if he loses? His success was pre NIL.
If he loses it would crater LSU because it would be an indictment on LSU itself.
I don’t think you want to go there.

Saban has lost his fire for coaching at this point. He’s loving the Gameday gig and so is Miss Terry. Plus, they are gods in Tuscaloosa.

Miss Terry is very happy being near the grandkids. She's not leaving.
