They are still a top 5 talent team that’s hard to kill. Arch Manning isn’t great, but they do not need him to be great to win games, just not suck. BUT THEY LOST TO FLORIDA! Bama lost to FSU and people went quiet on that. Other than that, they lost to the number 1 ranked team at their house. I wouldn’t be shocked if they won out this season, and snuck in the playoffs.

If they played it off like Arch was hurt and played the backup, I think they have a chance.

That scenario concerns me.

Hard to tease out, but yesterday felt as much about MSU self-destructing as it did Texas coming back. That said, our defense is much better than it showed for 3 quarters of that game. At least I think it is?

If we can find a way to beat Vandy then Im hopeful the wheels wont fall off after losing to UGA.

If we lose to Vandy 6-6 is very possible.

Good enough to knock off one of Vandy/GA/A&M? Maybe.

Not all three. It’s a very flawed team (offense).

They can play with anyone because of the defense. Although PK has neutered the D to prevent shot plays, knowing the offense won’t provide much support. The offense is legitimately terrible though. There has to be some truth to some of the rumors floating around Sark since January. It’s a neglected group who look unprepared every week.

I'll take that action. How many points are you giving? A massacre implies double digits at least

Are you kidding? Texas got taken to overtime in back to back weeks by the 2 worst teams in the league.

That and going to OT in back-to-back weeks against the conference's basement-dwellers.

Their offensive line is bad and that's really kind of what it is.

But they have the ability to stay in games late and play well in certain moments.

I think they likely beat Vanderbilt and Arkansas and finish 8-4, but there is an outside chance they upset A&M or Georgia. Also an outside chance they lose out.. but Petrino doesn't really seem to have it and they are favored against Vanderbilt for a reason.

College football is chaotic and with 4 games left to play, almost nothing ever holds. Your opinion on where teams are in the conference will be different at the end of November.

Texas is talent heavy. Can’t deny that. So they will always have a chance. And despite them struggling mightily they are winning. It’s ugly, but they are still winning. The Vandy game is going to be tough.

Given how wobbly he was, no way he didn’t have one.

Not that you ever want someone hurt, but, this would give Sark some cover to play Caldwell while Arch gets better.

I’m thinking 31-17.
