One of the worst coached games since last year. No excuses either, flat out error after error.

Could be a long ending to season.

Basketball team looks good in exhibition though. Both men and women.

Our season ending game with LSU might be to decide who gets the worst bowl game and second worst one.

Firing him opens up transfers and recruits. He’s still a good DC but not able to make good hires on offense nor manage a game. Somehow need to keep him for D.

I was about to agree with you, then I realized you were talking about Oklahoma and not the Hogs.

If it makes you feel better Kiffin coached it much worse. He turned into Hugh Freeze in the red zone

Both coaches should give up their paychecks. But at least Kiff came out on top so you have that going for you. I have a list of over 20 head scratching decisions that reinforces BV can’t game-day coach. He needs to go punch Arbuckle too.

Not a melt when it’s facts. Although BV likely needs to go I love having some defense. So I’m torn how to feel about that. He leaves and you lose classes and players and start over. Our problems have been on offense and special teams.

Can’t lose home games in SEC. Now have to steal a road game vs Tenn or Bama to equalize.

Would have been worse had Kiffin not spotted you 10 points and they actually called your LT for tripping.

Oklahoma could have won that game. Mateer missed so many throws in the 4th quarter. Seemed odd watching it. Maybe he’s still hurt some

And there is a longer list not mentioned. From a beat writer:

George Stoia III

A few crucial moments from today’s game:

*2nd quarter: Give up a safety, go down 12-10, Ole Miss scores a FG on next possession, down 15-10

*2nd quarter: Go for it on fourth and 2, bad play call fails, Ole Miss scores a TD, down 22-10

*3rd quarter: Get the ball at Ole Miss 15, go back 10 yards, have to settle for a FG, down 22-14

*4th quarter: Ole Miss goes on a 11-play, 75-yard TD drive to retake the lead, down 31-26

*4th quarter: Sategna has a nice return, ball would be at the 50, he fumbles, Ole Miss kicks a FG, game is sealed at 34-26

———

Not running the ball all game long and the 2 drives they did they got TDs

True but Ole Miss also should have won by 3 scores. Lane pulled his quarterback first and goal from the 5. That would’ve been a touchdown, no doubt.

He also went for it on his own 20 and gave OU an easy touchdown

Lane cost us so many points being too cute today. Glad we still won.
