Lane's boy threw game winning touchdown for Oxford High School last week and has made lots of friends in Oxford.

His daughter Landry is a sophomore at Ole Miss and is entrenched in sorority life with KKG and is loving every second of it.

Brother Chris lives on same street with his wife and 4 children.

...And yes he even moved his ex wife Layla to Oxford.

There isn't a snowball's chance in Hell that he is packing up for Gainesville.

Florida fans...Its been wildly entertaining to watch how disillusioned you all are....but you're not getting Lane. Get this far-fetched fantasy out of your meth-riddled carnie brains and move on to someone else. So go ahead and put that dream back in the trailer, sprinkle some meth dust on it, and roll on down the road.

not another state....just Gainesville. Meth isn't prevalent in Oxford. What happens in the rest of the state doesn't mean it happens in Oxford.

Just like the rest of Florida not being a shithole doesn't mean Gainesville isn't a shithole.

Oxford has coke.

If nothing else, y'all are going to have to pony up more dinero after he takes you to the SEC title game. We owe State to try and divert Ole Miss' funds away from the NIL. It is the least we can do after taking their AD, coach, and them giving us the game on Saturday.

You know what? You're right.

No HC in the history of coaching has ever changed schools with his kids in local athletics n the same town of his current team.

You literally have Alligators with detectable levels of methamphetamine swimming around the swamps of Florida from all the meth labs and tweakers flushing meth down the toilet when they get raided.

Besides with Florida's fan base, just like Auburn the job, it will be open again after 3 years ...they don't have patience..and they have a much tougher schedule

Article? Not saying you're wrong. Data says OU and Texas have the most meth heads in the SEC... oddly

Lol to come on here and give the reason of his kids have friends in Oxford is why he isn't taking the job is laughable.. I know this is the first time Ole Miss has ever had a coach that another school has ever wanted, but come on dude and I am not a Florida fan. If your dad is Lane Kiffin and head coach of any SEC school its not going to be hard for his kids to find some new friends.. It all comes down to what Lane wants, of course he isn't going to come out in the middle of the year and take the job.. If he thinks Florida is a better opportunity for him, he is gone.. By the way he has enough money to move his entire family again. actually I am certain that Florida will pay for that.

Discovery Channel made a documentary about it over the Summer. Drug tested urine from multiple alligators behind a trailer park and detected methamphetamine.
