Anyone know anything about this coach?
Gonzalez said he would be down on the field calling the plays. Gonzalez talked a good game about the offense and making sure it played to our players strengths but curious to see what they do here with the extra week off.

I just hope he doesn't call a screen play on 3rd and 21.

I’m sure Calloway will have a big say, he’ll just be the voice on DJs headset.
We’ll see

I was taken back at first. Then I thought about a second. This may be better for the the team then we all thought Callaway would be the caller.
Callaway called the plays for the Blue tam in the Orange and Blue game
Ohara called the playes for the Orange tam in the Orange and Blue game
Orange team was the Dallas Wilson record setting spring game team.

Yep my guess is Callaway will be upstairs telling O Hara what is going on. I just hope between them they call a lot better game than Napier which shouldn't be hard to do.

The playbook is what it is. Can't change it now. But maybe some unpredictability? That would be nice.

Billy did say they’ll tweak some concepts
They have 2 weeks so we’ll see

I just wanna see some killer instinct in the playcalling
Go for the throat when it’s there to be had instead of playcalling not to lose

Cam Newton shares a Chase Daniel clip of what it's like to be a QB with the OC giving you the play to call. after watching it, it makes sense why they're keeping O'Hara in his ear instead of someone new. it can be disorienting. plus, as Cam mentions, it's not just a single sentence. it's the play call, down and distance reminder, defense tendency reminders, check down reminders, and you only have 25 seconds to relay that to the QB.

They are saying now him and Callaway both will be up in the booth.

Whatever streamlines the communication to where DJ can best perform the plays called.
I’m down
I’ll say it again, I don’t think we beat Georgia but if we go out there and hit a few vertical plays and look better / in synch as an offense even in a loss… ima lose my fkn shite .

Yep I have a feeling the play calling might improve a little bit with Napier out of the equation now.
