eight charter members of the Southwest Conference in 1914 were the University of Arkansas, Baylor University, Oklahoma A&M University (now Oklahoma State), Rice University (then the William Marsh Rice Institute), Southwestern University, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Texas, and Texas A&M University. The conference was officially formed on December 8, 1914, as the Southwest Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

And you destroyed it, way to go idiots

Anytime another team looked like they were going to be successful. You work behind the scenes to bury them. You rampantly cheated more than any team in history. But turned in any other team to the NCAA for so much is paying for parking for a recruit.

Fun fact.

The SWC invited LSU and Ole Miss to be charter members. Ole Miss was interested but LSU wasn't and Ole Miss felt it was in their best interest to stay with LSU, Tulane and Mississippi A&M rather than go alone to the SWC.

Hey, we also once had this lovely little eight-team conference. Mizzou was in the center of it, even had the conference headquarters in Missouri. Then these Texas fellas convinced us that forming a super conference with their best schools (and Baylor) would bring wealth and stability...

Just pointing out that the OP used the original names of other schools, but not A&M.

One thing that hardly anybody knows about Oklahoma State (OAMC) back then...

Until the early 1920s they were the OAMC Tigers.

When OAMC got started they modeled things on Princeton... Thus, Orange and Black and Tigers. And as much as I hate the color combination of orange and black...at least that is the actual color of most actual Tigers.

Something that apparently none of the other SEC Tiger schools ever noticed.

Then maybe you should've said that rather than what you did say.

I have no reason to deny Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College.

You're still not as pretty as me.
