No offense at all to Ole Miss, but Id like to see Kiffin in a state with more talent.

Georgia's rivals give them no challenge right now. Ole Miss just never seems to win the big games.

This is hilarious given the state of your main rival.

I wouldn’t blame him at all if he decided to. He’s raised Ole Miss’ national profile tremendously, and Keith Carter is probably the best AD in the SEC (maybe the country considering the job he’s done with such a historically-mediocre athletic department). I know we’re in good hands either way.

Why would you even care about UGA? If we were 10-1 against Bama I surely wouldn’t give a shite who their rival coach would be

He might, but I think it would be dumb. UF is dysfunctional, both currently and historically. They had success with Tebow and Myer, but even that success came with Hernandez, Cam selling stolen laptops, etc. Haven't kept up with it, but at one point their NIL program was as f'd up as a soup sandwich. They've only had three coaches last more than 5 yrs since WWII and Spurrier is the only one of those 3 to last more than 10. And the school itself is embroiled in internal turmoil: faculty vs admin, institution vs governor, etc. Plus, they compete for recruits with four other in-state D1 programs and all kinds of out-of-state competition m. No UF coach will ever be able to build a recruiting fence around their own backyard.

It's just not the kind of situation that's conducive to long-term success, so whoever takes the job knows they're there for the paycheck and eventual buyout.

I don't know what Kiffin will do but UF will throw the check book at him. He holds all the cards, Ole Miss can match whatever UF does if they choose to do so, and at this point Ole Miss and is an equal or better job than UF right now. Neither school, boosters, athletic department will determine what Lane does, It will totally be his decision based on what he wants to do and where he wants to be. Anyone who says that they know his answer will be is full of bull. If he doesn't sign an extension in the next couple weeks I believe Florida is in play.

In the NIL world, this doesn't mean near as much as it used too.

Not true. Players that care more about the rivalries and history play harder.

Yeah maybe 1% care about anything more than who can pay me the most. Some of y'all have no idea how this is really working.
